It’s nuts how good our new smoothies taste…

We’re crazy about our delicious new line of all natural nut smoothies.

Made using cashew and almond milk, they have no dairy, soy or preservatives but are packed full of nutty goodness and flavour.  And there are four great flavours to choose from: chocolate, coffee, vanilla  chai and salted caramel.

The fresh & healthy fast-food solution

We’ve come up with a great way to enjoy a healthy delicious lunch on the go.

Our all natural Grab & Go fresh soups offer you five delicious soups to choose from  - West African Squash & Cashew, Portuguese Kale & White Bean, Thai Coconut, Tuscan Tomato and Korean Hot & Sour - in a single serve, heat and eat container. And they’re all gluten-free! All you need to do is heat and enjoy!

We've recently launched two new delicious chicken soups - guaranteed to warm souls and tummies on the coldest Winter days.

There's a gluten free, green-curry style Thai Chicken and a hearty organic Kawartha Chicken Noodle. Crammed full of all-natural ingredients and made without any preservatives, these new soups are the first retail fresh soups in Canada made with 100% organic chicken.

Our fresh soups take top honours!!

We love our Chatham Carrot & Ginger and Chilliwack Broccoli Cheddar Soups, not just because they are all natural and taste great but also because they use the best produce from our local regions.  And, the Retail Council of Canada think so too - these soups have just been awarded the 2013 Canadian Grand Prix New Product Award..and yes, we're very happy.

Food Banks Cheque Presentations

Our successful ‘Help Us feed the Hungry’ campaign that started last fall, culminated in a cheque presentation for $10,000 to Food Banks Canada, and cheques for $2,500 each to Abbotsford Food Bank, Chilliwack Care & Share, Chatham Outreach for Hunger and Moisson Rive-Sud.

’We’re tremendously grateful to the tens of thousands of Canadians who supported the ‘Help Us Feed the Hungry,’ campaign” said Happy Planet Co-founder Randal Ius. “This was a true partnership effort.”

Help us Feed the Hungry

We've just launched our latest GROW FOR GOOD initiative - “Help us Feed the Hungry” is a campaign that aims to promote and support hunger prevention and awareness programs. So every time you buy one of our delicious fresh soups this winter, you'll  help us  donate funds to those national and local food banks who do such good work in our communities.

We did it! On 27th September we set a new record for the World’s Largest Smoothie – a whopping 2,074Litres!

Our ‘Big Sipper’ smoothie broke the previous Guinness® World record of 1,516L established in May of this year by Cabot Creamery of the U.S

Loads of hard work by the Happy Planet team, the crew at the Greater Vancouver Food Bank Society and the generous support of our awesome sponsors made this possible.
Our thanks go to: Pro Organics, Pacific Coast Fruit Products, Earth’s Own Almond Fresh, Meadowfresh Dairy, BARR Plastics, Sandel Foods, SW Audio+Visual and Cold Star Freight Systems.

Made with raspberries, bananas, yogurt, vanilla almond milk and agave nectar, samples of this enormous but delicious smoothie were then handed out for a donation towards the Greater Vancouver Food Bank Society.

We’ve just launched a new range of soups

Discover our new locally-inspired fresh soups. Based on recipes we Canadians love, these delicious new fresh soups are made with vegetables sourced from our best growing regions.

“We wanted to create delicious soups that taste just like homemade,” said Happy Planet founder, Randal Ius. “We highlight the earthy and rich mushrooms from the Fraser Valley; the fresh and robust Broccoli from Chilliwack; the creamy and hearty potatoes from Montérégie; and the sweet and flavourful carrots from Chatham-Kent. Canada is abundant with delicious produce; these new fresh soups celebrate that.”

Look out for these delicious soups, now available in the refrigerated sections of grocery stores nationwide.

Grow for Good Contest Winner - July 2013

Almost 3 months and 400 Happy Planet Herb Gardens later, we have the winner of our Grow for Good contest ! The photo submitted by Kyla Rosen of Hope, BC received the most votes on our Facebook contest page and she and her family will enjoy a year's worth of organic produce delivered to her door, courtesy of  spud.

This contest was part of our Grow for Good initiative which is focused on helping people develop a healthy appreciation for fresh food and where it comes from. The response was overwhelming (more than 400 Happy Planet herb gardens across Canada were started) and we want to thank all of you who took up the challenge and got planting.

Keep on growing!
